I am a video editor and digital designer who enjoys dialogue about film and design as well as music, travel, and poker. I own and operate Blinding Light Design, LLC, and I also regularly contribute to the media and product review blog, FreshRadar.

I proudly founded Blinding Light Design with the vision of providing high-quality creative services to a variety of companies and individuals. With over six years of experience as a digital designer and video editor, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a broad range of design, video, and web-based projects for diverse companies in the corporate, non-profit, agency, and production house sectors. I believe successful design is truly about solving problems creatively.

FreshRadar is a blog-style website run by a team of contributing writers to provide positive reviews of consumable goods and media to its readers. The vision for this website came from the intersection of my personal experiences producing art, media, goods, and services and the realization that it is exceedingly easy to be a critic. I strongly believe one of the easiest and most cowardly things a person can do is spend their time speaking negatively about the things everyone else is making or doing all while never attempting to make or do anything themself. Growing out of this conviction, the content and culture of FreshRadar always strives to be positive. Specifically, instead of writing typical reviews for consumable goods and media where each item is rated with some scale of good to bad, this site only features positive reviews: Recommendations.

I am also a bit of a film buff. A while back, I discovered the relatively young field of motion graphics which combines graphic design with the timeline-based and narrative qualities of film-making. My weapon of choice for working with motion graphics is Adobe After Effects, and I am currently pursing my Master’s in Broadcast Design and Motion Graphics at Savannah College of Art and Design.
