If you are a creative type or love someone who is, you should absolutely watch this video. While I have not ready any of Gilbert’s books or writing, I appreciate her candid perspective on the burden of creative success. Her talk gets a bit mystical, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. I think the process of creating is both a mystical and mysterious one, and I believe it is a reflection of the fact that we are made in the image of The Creator.
When you think about it, Christianity and particularly the Holy Spirit are quite mystical themselves.
